Menopause practitioner with 40 years' NHS experience

About me

This year I celebrate 40 years in the NHS and the birth of my first grandchild. I have a wide breadth of experience working in advanced clinical roles both in Acute and Primary Care and for many years have had a special interest in Women’s Health and the menopause.

I am a member of the British menopause Society and the menopause Academy taking part in regular conferences, webinars and online updates.

I currently work in a GP practice seeing both acutely ill clients with emergency conditions and in a health promotion capacity seeing a wide range of clients for concerns in areas such as women’s health, contraception and the menopause. I am very committed to health promotion and believe that by empowering women with the knowledge and support they need, they can achieve a much happier healthier menopause.
