Kathie

Experienced menopause practitioner and Consultant Nurse

About me

I qualified as a nurse 30 years ago. Since then I have worked full time within NHS Gynaecology Services in North West England. I am passionate about promoting women’s health, and therefore chose to base my career in this area of medicine.

Previously I’ve worked as a Ward Sister and also a Specialist Nurse Practitioner. In 2006 I qualified as a Consultant Nurse and now my area of particular interest is menopause. I deliver menopause clinics weekly and frequently deliver talks and workshops about menopause.

I have completed the advanced certificate in menopause care, and I am a member of the British Menopause society.

I have two grown-up children and live with them, my partner and my dog.
