About me

Elaine is a Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist based in Birmingham and has specialised in Women’s health and Menopause. She has over thirty years’ experience in managing and counselling women in menopause related issues.

She consults in consultant-led clinics and runs her own nurse-led clinics within a specialist Menopause service in an NHS hospital. She has been certified by the British menopause society as a Menopause specialist.

Elaine is an active member of both the British Menopause society, and West Midlands menopause society. She is regularly involved in providing education on all aspects of Menopause health to a wide range of health professionals nationally.

She is passionate about ensuring women have access to accurate and up-to-date advice and guidance at the time of menopause so that they can make informed choices.

Initial phone consultation, report and resources

The initial consultation lasts 45 minutes. I will take a personal history and discuss specific symptoms. I will talk about what is normal during menopause, answer any questions and talk through the range of treatment options, both lifestyle-based and pharmaceutical.

All appointments are conducted on the phone, so you won't need to travel. You can select a day and time that suits you.

Following the appointment, I will send you a personalised post-appointment report and a resources pack.

Follow-up phone consultation

I will discuss your recent experiences since we had the initial consultation to help to keep your treatment plan on track.
