Peppy and AXA Health work together to provide fertility, pregnancy and early parenthood, and menopause support.

The digital health app Peppy’s new collaboration with AXA Health means large corporate clients of AXA can give their employees free access to expert-led personalised support and information. This will aid them as they go through key life moments such as fertility issues, pregnancy, early parenthood, and menopause.  

Here, one of the Peppy co-founders, Evan Harris, explains the significance of Peppy and AXA Health working together: 

What were the origins of the collaboration between AXA Health and Peppy? 

Today’s employees have higher expectations when it comes to the health benefits package their employer provides. There’s been a dramatic wave of work culture shifts brought about by factors including Covid-19 and the blurring of lines between work and home.

Additionally there has been the impact of campaigns like Black Lives Matter and #MeToo on diversity and inclusion, and the supply chain crisis in recruitment. To be attractive as an employer, creating a positive and accommodating work culture is now essential. 

Employers are recognising the need to provide support which goes beyond the standard private medical insurance policies or Employee Assistance Programmes. To satisfy the needs of their employer clients, AXA Health have realised that providing support around fertility considerations and issues, early parenthood, and menopause is now vital. These are topics that were previously outside the scope of a conventional private medical insurance policy. What range of support can AXA Health corporate clients now receive through Peppy? 

 

If you’re an employee of an AXA client who’s bought Peppy services, the app will give you unlimited access to a wealth of expert practical support. This is across the following areas of menopause, early parenthood, and fertility – and it’s free of charge. 

Users can access our evidence-based articles, videos and audios, live virtual seminars and broadcasts. You can even speak with real-life experts about what they’re going through via the app. This can be by booking a private one-to-one phone or video consultation with a specialist practitioner. Or, by using our instant messaging support services. 

We know from our users that offering this multi-layered support and access to real experts helps users feel less alone. It helps them cope better with their health challenges, both mentally and physically.

 

What does this mean for both AXA Health and their clients?  

Instead of AXA Health’s clients signing up directly to Peppy, our range of services can now be easily added to AXA Health clients’ policies.

AXA Health’s clients get Peppy at the best current market rate, safe in the knowledge that AXA has carried out all the due diligence. This means it’s a low-risk way of providing an innovative, clinically validated, and cost-effective service as part of their DE&I and employee wellbeing benefits policy.
