  • What is Peppy?

Peppy is a first-of-its-kind health app that provides personalized support by connecting your people to highly qualified human health experts.

Our services cover under-served areas of healthcare that can have a big impact on an employee’s day-to-day working life. These include men’s, women’s and LGBTQI+ health.

Today, more than 250 leading employers, representing more than a million users, have access to life-changing healthcare support from Peppy’s experts. Our clients include Axa health insurance, Coty, Clifford Chance, Natwest Group, Santander, and many more.

Through the Peppy app, your employees are able to access health experts at a time that suits them and in a manner, they’re most comfortable with. They can choose from Messenger-style chats, one-on-one video consultations, and live events.

In addition, they can access videos, audio, and articles recorded and written by our team of nurses, counselors, consultants, and other health professionals.

  • What kinds of companies can benefit most from Peppy services?

Peppy works with businesses in construction, banking, legal, technology, and many more.

The areas of healthcare we cover affect all industries and all levels of business. Whether it’s a shop-floor worker with symptoms of prostate cancer, or a CEO struggling with period pain, Peppy can provide solutions.

We help your people remain at their best, every day. To see the life-changing impact Peppy has on our users, check out our case studies.

  • How can Peppy help me to attract, retain, and engage the best employees?

Unfortunately, gaps in our healthcare system make it challenging and sometimes impossible for employees to get the support they need.

The stress of juggling healthcare and the inconvenience of health problems can affect employee wellbeing. It can cause talented people to disengage or consider leaving employment altogether.

That’s why now more than ever, the best people want to know their employer cares about their health and wellbeing — not only in the workplace but outside it.

Peppy helps by providing confidential care from specialized experts. This not only helps your business retain talent; it also makes you more attractive to potential employees.

For example, women in their 50s are the fastest-growing demographic in the workplace. Yet one in four of them actually considers leaving their jobs because of menopause symptoms — and one in ten actually does!

With access to treatment from Peppy’s experts, women are better able to manage their menopause. As a result, they’re more engaged, healthier, and happier at work.

Peppy gets real results, and we see examples of this in every area we support. Get in touch to find out more.

  • Can Peppy help me make my workforce more diverse and inclusive?

Absolutely. A diverse workforce means diverse health concerns, and Peppy provides dedicated resources that cater to the specific needs of all employees.

We know, for instance, that Black, Asian, and Latina women tend to go through menopause earlier than white women. 1 in 5 men will die before they retire. More than 1 in 8 LGBTQI+ people now live in states where doctors, nurses and other health care professionals can legally refuse to treat them. They may not want to talk about how this is affecting them at work, but with Peppy, they’ll have access to expert healthcare whenever they need it.

This will help you meet — and exceed — your DEI goals.

  • I already have an Employee Assistance Program, why should I have Peppy?

Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) offer generalized support, and in a pre-Covid world, that was enough. But not anymore.

Business has changed. Today, EAPs are mere table stakes. To win and retain the best talent, you need to offer specialized support.

Peppy enhances your health and wellness offering by giving your people easy access to real healthcare providers who specialize in their needs.

  • What do HR, Benefits and other leaders say about Peppy?

Employers can see how Peppy changes the lives of their people, and they’re not shy about telling us.

What does that mean in real terms? Well, just ask our clients.

“Many women need to take time off work because of their periods and working men visit the GP 50% less than working women. These gender-specific experiences of health and healthcare can have a significant impact on both individuals and businesses. By providing employers with the tools to support their employees in the individual ways that they need, businesses will be able to flourish and create a strong culture of support within the workplace, as well as looking after employee wellbeing.”

  • What do employees say about Peppy?

Improving our users’ lives is the core of what we do. We want to reduce the pain of healthcare so people have more of themselves to bring to their relationships and jobs.

We’re validated in that mission every day as employees reach out to tell us about all the ways Peppy is improving their lives.

Here are just a few of the comments we get daily:

“Having had a traumatic birth and postnatal issues, this is exactly what I needed. I was feeling very isolated and under-supported. Peppy gave me access to the support I needed when I needed it the most.”
    Lisa, Peppy Women’s Health user

“I just want to say that I’ve been hugely impressed with the whole Peppy experience so far, it’s a great service.”
    Peppy Men’s Health user

“The internet can be misleading, so I don’t trust everything I read. It’s great to talk to someone who can really understand your problems and work out a plan to overcome them.”
    Emilie, Peppy Women’s Health user.

“When my symptoms were in full swing, had it not been for all the help I received from you [Peppy clinical director Kathy Abernethy] and the Peppy nurses online, I would never have been in the right frame of mind to even think about applying for a new job, never mind actually going through the interview process and getting a promotion.”
