Supporting a workforce through every life stage

Vaultex, a high-security cash processing company, wanted to better support a long-serving workforce navigating fertility, parenthood, menopause and more.

They faced a unique operational challenge: approx. 80% of employees cannot access their phones during shifts. Because Peppy is an app-based service, this could have created a significant barrier to access.

But it didn’t. Rather than waiting for absence data to highlight a problem, leadership acted early. They chose Peppy as a single platform to support every life stage, trained every manager and senior leader ahead of launch, and embedded the service across sites and internal communications.

Despite limited phone access during working hours, engagement with the app was high. This is clear proof that the need was there, and that employees were actively seeking trusted, specialist support when they could access it.

Stigma and culture shift

Conversations opened up. Employees started menopause coffee mornings. And despite restricted phone access during shifts, engagement with Peppy remained strong - proof the demand was there.

Manager confidence

Senior leaders and managers were trained before launch. As a result, they actively signposted Peppy, led by example and helped reduce stigma across sites.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

“We've got a lot of people within our organisation with very long service, which means that they will actually be naturally be progressing through different life stages.

So it's nice to have an app where a lot of those life stages, there's the support available for them, whether that be fertility, parenthood menopause, women's health, men's health.

It also makes it a lot more sustainable for us as a business!”
